London — The Embassy of Nepal in London has successfully organized its first-ever mobile consular service camp in the Cayman Islands, marking a significant step in bringing essential government services closer to the Nepali diaspora.
The camp, held on 14 April 2025, witnessed enthusiastic participation from the local Nepali community. More than 100 Nepali nationals benefited from a range of consular services, including passport renewals and documentation support.
An estimated 3,000 Nepali citizens currently live and work in the Cayman Islands, primarily in the security and hospitality sectors. The mobile consular camp was a much-anticipated initiative aimed at addressing their administrative needs without requiring travel to London or other consular hubs.
The Embassy of Nepal extended its heartfelt gratitude to the Nepali community in the Cayman Islands for their active support and cooperation, which contributed to the success of the initiative.
