Pakistan election 2024 results: Pakistan voted to elect its new government on Thursday. The polling started at 8.00 AM and continued without any break till 5:00 PM. A countrywide public holiday was declared to enable more than 12 crore voters to cast their ballots. Counting of votes began following the conclusion of the polling and the results of individual polling stations started to pour in after the mandatory one-hour restriction ended.

PTI Central Information Secretary Raoof Hasan has claimed that his party is leading on at least 125 National Assembly seats ‘by huge margins’.

“In due course of time, we shall be in a position to form governments at the centre and at least two of the four provinces,” he said on his X account.
