World-renowned mountaineer Nirmal Purja, popularly known as “Nimsdai,” who died in an avalanche on Pakistan’s Broad Peak, will be cremated in the UK on August 26.
According to the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) UK, the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 26, in Dorset, England.
NRNA UK has urged individuals and representatives of organisations wishing to attend the funeral to register their names in advance.
Purja, 43, died in an avalanche on Broad Peak in Pakistan on July 30.
