London: Aspiring married women across Nepal now have an opportunity to step onto the global stage as applications for Mrs. Nepal World 2026 have officially opened, according to a press release issued by organizer Ribbon Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
The announcement was made during a press conference held at The Square Hotel, Pulchowk, Lalitpur, where the organizers invited eligible Nepali women to participate in the national pageant that focuses on empowerment, leadership, confidence, and social contribution.
Ribbon Entertainment Chairman Nishu Kant Jha said the upcoming edition would be organized on a larger scale with international standards. “Mrs. Nepal World is much more than a beauty pageant. It is a platform that celebrates the leadership, confidence, capability, and social contribution of Nepali women,” he said.
The first-round auditions are scheduled for August 8 in Kathmandu, while the grand finale will be held on October 31. The competition has no height or weight restrictions, and married women as well as single women who have completed SEE/SLC or equivalent education are eligible to apply.
Contestants selected through the auditions will undergo a 45-day intensive grooming program led by national and international experts. The training will include personality development, communication skills, leadership, public speaking, runway skills, fitness, and social responsibility.
Along with crowning Mrs. Nepal World 2026, the event will also select Mrs. Nepal International 2026, MS International 2026, and the newly introduced Mrs. Nepal Cosmo 2026. The winner of Mrs. Nepal World 2026 will represent Nepal at the Mrs. World international pageant in the United States next year.
The press release stated that Ribbon Entertainment has been working to expand Nepal’s presence in the global pageant arena through international franchises. Nepal was represented by Sanju Bhatta at Mrs. World 2025, while Prithviya Thapa won the Humanitarian Award at Mrs. World 2023.
The organizer said Mrs. Nepal World aims to provide Nepali women with a platform to showcase their talent, leadership, and personality while becoming ambassadors of Nepal on the international stage.
