NRNA conducts a historic Health Camp to examine and raise awareness on Breast Cancer in Gaighat, Udaypur

Over 300 women from different rural corners of Udaypur gathered in Gaighat Triyuga High School where NRNA Global Health Committee organized a historic health camp to examine to detect breast camp and raise awareness for the prevention of breast cancer.

The health camp was supported by Triyuga Municipality ward number 11 and Udaypur Jaycee.

The health camp was coordinated by Dr Sanjeeb Sapkota the chair of NRNA Global Health Committee. The experts who examined women were Dr Arun Shahi, senior cancer specialist; Dr Poonam KC, director of Nursing at Norvic Hospital; Dr Amrit Karn, medical officer at Udaypur District Hospital.

The preparations and management of health camp done with the support of Ms Sabu Thapa from Udaypur Jaycees; Bramhadev Mahato, pharmacist from Gaighat and Mr Sumanta Koirala the ward chairperson of Triyuga Municipality ward number 11.

Foreign Minister Dr. Narayan Khadka inaugurated the health camp and thanked NRNA for such a Nobel and humanitarian work.

The community people gave wonderful feedback about the health camp and said such camp should be repeated again so that more women could get health benefit who could not join this time.
