London: The Nepali Embassy in London has clarified that no one is prohibited from entering the embassy premises. In a statement released on Wednesday, the embassy addressed misleading claims circulating on social media over the past few days, which suggested that access to the embassy had been restricted.

The embassy emphasized that it is a common home for all Nepalis residing in the UK and that no one has been denied entry. The statement highlighted that, as the oldest Nepali embassy, it has always worked towards strengthening Nepal-UK relations and protecting and promoting the interests of Nepalis in the UK.

The statement also acknowledged the significant contributions of British Gurkhas to the bilateral relationship between Nepal and the UK, which the government and the embassy continue to honor. Despite limited resources, the embassy remains committed to providing efficient consular services to the growing Nepali community in the UK.

The embassy urged the public not to believe in such misleading information, reiterating that the embassy is open to all and serves as a shared space for the entire Nepali community in the UK.
