Warm Clothes Distribution in Ishwarpur Municipality

Sarlahi. A total of 91 children from Shri Janata Primary School in Kalinjor, Ishwarpur Municipality-12, were provided with warm clothes. The clothes were distributed to the students on Thursday, with the active involvement of Sunita Acharya, President of Lions Club Kathmandu Darpan, and social workers Sanjay Adhikari and Prakash Baral.

This initiative has provided significant support to local school children, helping them cope with the challenges of the cold winter season. Lions Club Kathmandu and social worker Sunita Acharya collaborated to provide the warm clothing to the students.

Sunita Acharya, who played a key role in organizing the event, said, “Our efforts today are for the brighter future of the children. I am grateful for the support from the school’s teachers and students.”

The head of the school and teachers thanked Sunita Acharya, Sanjay Adhikari, and Prakash Baral for their generous contribution. The school principal stated, “This support is incredibly important for the children. We would like to thank the kind-hearted donors who made this possible.”

The event was attended by the Mayor of Ishwarpur Municipality, Manoj Kumar Acharya, along with teachers, students, parents, and prominent figures from the local community. During the event, community representatives and social workers encouraged the children and pledged to organize similar support programs in the future.

This initiative has highlighted the need for and importance of warm clothes in other schools across Sarlahi district as well.
