NRNA Central Committee meeting will be held on Saturday

London: The meeting of the Non-Resident Nepali Association’s International Coordination Council (ICC) is scheduled for be held next Saturday.

According to the association’s General Secretary, Gouri Raj Joshi, the meeting will take place virtually at 5 PM Nepali time on Saturday, August 17.

More than 60 central officials of the association from various countries including ICC members, and the presidents and general secretaries of the National Coordination Councils will participate in the meeting.

According to Joshi, the meeting has been called to provide information about the activities of the Non-Resident Nepali Association and to plan new upcoming programs.

This is the first meeting to be held after the Supreme Court issued an order last Tuesday not to interfere with the activities of the executive committee led by Dr. Badri KC.

Earlier, a team including the association’s Deputy Treasurer, Krishna Timilsena, had approached the Supreme Court, demanding that the executive committee elected from the 11th General Assembly of the association be allowed to carry out regular activities.
