London: The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has distributed relief to flood and landslide victims in Dakshinkali. According to NRNA’s Assistant Treasurer Krishna Timilsina, a team led by the association’s president, Dr. Badri KC, distributed relief to 50 families in the Dakshinkali municipality on Sunday.
The association provided food supplies and clothing, along with tents, sufficient for about a month to 50 families. Several central officials of the NRNA, along with non-resident Nepalis from various countries who had traveled to Nepal, reached the flood-affected areas to distribute the relief.
The team representing the NRNA was led by President Dr. Badri KC and included Vice Presidents Rozina Pradhan Rai and Ram Sharan Simkhada, Deputy General Secretary Som Sapkota, ICC members Hemanta Kafle and Rajkumar Thapa, advisor Atul Koirala, former DRC Dharma Raj Giri, NRNA activists, former NRNA General Secretary Ratan Jha, and Chief Executive Officer Rajendra Raut, among others.
